#1 - Charlie the Caterpillar

Hi guys!

The first book I am commenting the original post is here.
This was one of the books that mum read to me while I was a newborn and I still love it!

Charlie the Caterpillar
By Charlie Gutman

Published: 28th November 2017
Genre: Children, short stories
Edition: Ebook
Source: NatGalley
Pages: 6
My rating: 4/5
Goodreads rating: 3.4/5
Read: 2018

The Plot
I loved this book because is a simple story that any baby can hear.
This is a story about a caterpillar that looks himself in the mirror and doesn't like what he sees. This way, he tries to do whatever it takes to feel better. One day he has to be in a cocoon and faster than he realises he has to come out of it. That's when a butterfly appears and he has a new world to discover. He likes himself better now.

In Conclusion
Personally, what I really love about this book is the artistic job. The drawings are very beautiful.
The story focuses itself also appeals to me. The journey of self-discovery and what the society wants from us: perfection. But is perfection what we should look for?

This was an ARC from 2017.

Hello World!

Hi guys!

I am The Baby Book Worm (if you want to know more about my mum check here).
After coming to the world and being busy getting to know this planet and its habits (and getting my mum and dad busy while taking care of me), I asked mum to start my blog. It will focus mainly about my books (they read a lot for me and I absolutely love it) but once in a while I will also comment on stuff, things and brands (nothing sponsored... if you want to sponsor me to feel free and I'll comment and review here). Basically, I will talk a bit about my daily experiences sharing with you guys.
The only thing (and most important) I won't show pictures of myself to preserve my identity and I will not share details that can identify me. The purpose of this blog is to give ideas of things for babies, talk about development and above all, to have fun.

I will post two to three days a week. I will not be able for a start to post more frequent because I am starting my nursery soon and also my mum will be back to work (and honestly... she needs to work on her blog for god sack! She has been lazy to update it!!!).

First few posts will be the posts I shared on my mum's blog... guys maybe you don't know her blog so I will update here. I will also prepare one account on Goodreads :)

So guys... join me on my crusade!

Greetings!

The Baby Book Worm
